New League of Legends Hero Changes

1st up this... Ryze, Morgana, and Malphite have had their cost in Influence Points permanently reduced. Morgana and Malphite have had their costs reduced from 3150 IP to 1350 IP, and Ryze has had his cost reduced from 1350 IP all the way down to 450 IP!

This is awesome, but I hope they don't use it to just release more 6300 heroes

Dark Wind: Bounces changed to 5 at all ranks. Silence duration 1.5 at all ranks. Leveling the skill increases base damage. Large increase to AP ratio.

Drain: Now heals for a % of damage as health. Begins at 50% and scales up with AP ratio (and can go over 100% with enough AP). Range slightly reduced. (Might increase CD if we have to).

Crowstorm: Base damage lowered, AP ratio increased.

Base Stats: Pretty sizable increase. His base armor was abysmal to make up for drain - with these fixes, he can have more normal base stats.

This is also cool as I really like fiddle and I hope this changes him for the better.

The only other thing I can think of is that they are changing some of the global ults

"Brand" New league of legends hero... Get it?

In a faraway place known as Lokfar there was a seafaring marauder called Kegan Rodhe. As was his people’s way, Kegan sailed far and wide with his fellows, stealing treasures from those unlucky enough to catch their attention. To some, he was a monster; to others, just a man. One night, as they sailed through the arctic waters, strange lights danced over the frozen wastes. There was something hypnotic about them; it was something that drew them to it like moths to a flame. Trekking across the frozen waste, they came to a cave covered in ancient runes. The meaning of the runes long lost to them, Kegan led the way inside. There, inside a perfect cage of ice floated a dancing column of flame. There was no way such a thing should be burning, especially not in this place. However, its movement was as hypnotic as a siren's song, captivating and seductive. While the others stayed back, Kegan could not help but approach it while holding out his hand...
That is the last thing Kegan Rodhe remembers, for now his body belongs to Brand. It is a creature of olden times, perhaps even a casualty of the Rune Wars. It is known in ancient texts as the Burning Vengeance. It is a creature of pure fiery hate that exists for no other reason than to lay low the world of men and yordles. No one is quite sure how Brand found his way to Valoran, but he began his predations at once. Overcome by Demacian forces, he was given a choice: fight within the confines of the League or die. Naturally, he chose to use his destructive powers in the League, for now...
“This place will burn, not by cinder flying on breath of wind, but by the vengeance of my hand.” –Brand
Abilities:
Sear: Brand launches a ball of fire forward that deals magic damage. If the target is ablaze, the target will be stunned.
Pillar of Flame: After a short delay, Brand creates a pillar of flame at a target area, dealing magic damage to enemy units with the area. Units that are ablaze take additional damage.
Conflagration: Brand conjures a powerful blast at his target, dealing magic damage to them. If the target is ablaze, the conflagration spreads to nearby enemies.
Pyroclasm (Ultimate): Brand unleashes a devastating torrent of fire, dealing damage each time it bounces. If a target is ablaze, Pyroclasm's missile speed increases.
Blaze (Passive): Brand's basic abilities light his targets ablaze, dealing a percentage of their maximum Health in magic damage per second.

League of Legends - Nocturne Art Spotlight!

Lore:

Before Nocturne, people believed that dreams were figments of their imaginations, meaningless images that flashed through the mind when one slept. This belief was put to the test when a rash of sleep-related incidents started afflicting summoners of the League. Some would wake up screaming, terrified and beyond consolation. Some could not fall asleep, slowly going mad as the nights ticked by. Some simply never woke up. Physicians were baffled until a Field Architect happened to pass out next to a nexus on The Twisted Treeline. Witnesses said he cried out once and then stopped breathing. Immediately after, magical energy arced out from the nexus, and Nocturne appeared.

Nocturne did not take his introduction to this world kindly. He slaughtered everything he could find before summoners were able to magically confine him. After a period of intense study, League experts divined that Nocturne hunted summoners in their sleep, attacking them in a place where their magic was useless. This seemed to be his only purpose. The families of the victims demanded justice, but League officials were concerned that death might only return Nocturne to the place from which he came. They bound him to a nexus fragment, trapping him in the physical world. As punishment for his crimes, they allowed summoners to call upon Nocturne in League matches, bending his will to the summoners he hates and creating his own personal nightmare. League scholars don’t know whether he truly came from the plane of dreams, or whether there are any more like him. Some theorize that the summoning act affected summoners’ the subconscious minds, luring Nocturne to them in their sleep. Perhaps the most disturbing theory is that Nocturne is a person’s nightmare come to life. If this is true, they wonder, who is the dreamer?

“The darkness is closing in... it’s pitch black now... but I can still see him...” -Kelvin Ma, patient #4236

Abilities:

Duskbringer: Nocturne throws a shadow blade which deals damage, leaves a Dusk Trail, and causes champions to leave a Dusk Trail. While on the trail, Nocturne ignores unit collision and has increased Movement Speed.

Shroud of Darkness: Nocturne empowers his blades, passively gaining attack speed. Activating Shroud of Darkness allows Nocturne fades into the shadows, creating a magical barrier which blocks a single enemy spell and doubles his passive attack speed if successful.

Unspeakable Horror: Nocturne plants a nightmare into his target's mind, dealing damage each second and fearing the target if they do not get out of range by the end of the duration.

Paranoia (Ultimate): Nocturne reduces the sight radius of all enemy champions and removes their ally vision in the process. He can then launch himself at a nearby enemy champion.

Umbra Blades (Passive): Every 10 seconds, Nocturne's next attack strikes surrounding enemies for physical damage and heals himself for each target hit. Nocturne's physical attacks reduce this cooldown by 1 second.

Predators Review

I just got done watching this movie and if you are fan of the original you will like this. It is what you would expect from a film about Predators that doesn't have aliens in it. The film follows Royce (Adrien Brody), a mercenary, who wakes up finding himself falling from the sky into a jungle. Once on the ground, he meets other people who have arrived there in the same manner, all of whom have questionable backgrounds, except for a doctor (Topher Grace). As the film progresses, the group discovers that they are on an alien planet that acts as a game preserve where they are being hunted by a merciless race of aliens known as Predators. The effects are good and so is the acting. I don't know if I would buy it but a high rent is for sure.

More Orks!

I finished putting together the rest of my Boyz today all I need now are some paints. I also found a cool way to make rivets for my Battlewagon and it is starting to look even cooler. In other news going to play some LoL tonight so should I play Fiddle or Nunu? Hm.

Orks!

My friends and I are having a Warhammer 40k tourniment soon and I started working on my looted wagon today for it. It looks ok, but not as good as my battle wagon witch looks really good I think (needs paint). I hope I do well and have some ork pics.

Arkham Horror!

These last few weeks I have been playing a game called Arkham Horror. What is Arkham Horror you ask, well it doesn't have anything to do with Batman if that is what you are thinking. The game board is made up of locations in Lovecraft's fictional city of Arkham during 1926. Street, building and outdoor locations are featured, as well as otherworldly locations that investigators can venture into. Players each have an investigator, represented by a character card, several attributes, and cards representing items, spells, and other things. As game play progresses, gates to these other worlds open and are represented by tokens placed on the board4. Monsters from the other worlds enter through the gates and wander the city. The investigators travel through the city, avoiding or fighting the monsters, visiting city locations to acquire tools, and ultimately entering the gates. After traveling through the other world and returning, the investigator can try to close the gate. While exploring city locations or other worlds, the investigators face random challenges and benefits. As gates open, a "Doom Track" advances; if it reaches the end, a powerful alien creature breaks through into Arkham. In the 1987 edition of the game, this ends the game in failure for the players. In the 2005 edition, this (in most cases) begins an endgame in which the players have a small chance to defeat the creature and win; otherwise they lose.

The game is a lot of fun but it has so many rules that is can be a hard game to pick up. You roll dice to make checks. Have a set amount of life and sanity. There are allies that can help you along the way too.

New League of Legends Hero

I think he looks cool and is a nice change of pace from the Boobs heros we have been getting as of late.

Abilities:

Arcane Smash: Maokai slams the ground, the force of which knocks nearby enemies back and sends an arcane shockwave forward damaging and slowing his enemies.

Twisted Advance: Maokai dissolves into a cloud of arcane energies. He regrows near a target enemy, dealing damage and rooting it in place.

Sapling Toss: Maokai hurls a sapling, dealing damage on impact. The sapling becomes implanted in the ground warding a nearby area. When enemies approach, the sapling attacks, exploding in an arcane blast that damages enemies.

Vengeful Maelstrom (Ultimate): Maokai shields his allies by drawing power from hostile spells and attacks, reducing non-tower damage done to allied champions in the area. Maokai can prolong the effect as long as he has mana to spend on it. When the effect ends, Maokai unleashes the absorbed energy to deal damage to enemies within the vortex.

Sap Magic (Passive): Each time a champion near Maokai casts a spell, he gains a charge of Magical Sap. When he has 5 charges, his next melee attack drains energy from his target, healing Maokai for a percentage of his maximum HP.

The DCAU

Right now I'm watching Superman TAS. It isn't as good as Batman: TAS but I can watch it. I was thinking of watching Batman Beyond next, as I haven't seen that show in years. The DCAU is just so good, with so many good shows it is hard to pick just what one to watch next. Justice league is also a good choice. I just don't know.

Teemo!

I love playing Teemo so much; the buff he got in the new patch is way better then it sounds on paper. Hit and run all the way and if they try to come after me mushrooms mushrooms everywhere.

Titan Quest Reinstall

I just reinstalled Titan Quest after watching some diablo 3 vids. I love this kind of game and can't wait for diablo 3. Is it the random loot that drops that draws me in or the game play. Hm I just don't know. I think daemon hunter looks like the best D3 class but I guess it is too soon to tell.

My new Case

I thought this case was so cool and it has great reviews .My Case!

My computer

Well my computer I thought I could fix just by getting a new power supply plan isn't working out. I am most likely going to have to get a new PC witch sucks for me. I am either going to get a new pc or use parts from my old one and just get some new parts that I need.

The Covenant

So I just got done watching The Covenant on FX. I thought the film was ok. The special effects where good and some parts of the movie looked really cool, but it is the story that gets me. I didn't really like the story all that much, they where witches but all they did was shoot telekinetic energy balls at one another. I would think you could come up with some cooler looking spells then that. I also thought the pacing was of, at lest that is what I think was off. Just something about the whole movie was off and I can't nail it down. If you are bored and have FX you could give it a try but I wouldn't download or rent this movie.

Teemo!

I have just started playing Teemo in league of legends. I love the poison and the mushrooms so much. Just every place you could think of hiding in has a mushroom. I feel so cheeky when I play him. If anyone has tips or link to good builds that would help.

Snow and Dragons!

It just won't stop snowing here. I have been cleaning up snow and moving it all day. It looks so nice but is a pain. Also watched How to Train Your Dragon today. That was fitting I think with all the snow that is around.

Back from Break!

Things are looking up, I should be getting a new power supply today. I can't wait to get my computer back up and running. After the holiday I spent my free time watching DS9 on my friends laptop. At first I didn't like like it but as time went on it grew on me. I just started season 6 things are getting really good. The story just opens up and draws you in. In season 1 I had to work to even get though an episode without pausing or going on the internet, it just bored me. I can't wait to finish DS9. Also bajoran's suck.
